Cortes do Meio Natural Pools: Where are you going
A ride through Cortes do Meio natural polls. You will discover a total of 6 natural wells with crystalline waters. But not only. Along the way, the views of Alto da Pedrice and the Massif Central da Serra will not leave you indifferent.
You’ll start in Unhais da Serra, a thermal village located in Alforfa Valley. In the last ice age, the existing glacier in this valley was the second largest in Serra da Estrela.
The route continues to Vale das Cortes. Initially, the opportunity to enjoy wonderful views of the entire valley. This is followed by a visit to the natural pools. In summer there is an opportunity for refreshing dips. In winter and spring, the enormous flow of the stream adds to the magnificence.
Between the wells you will also pass through the mountain villages of Bouça, Cortes do Meio and Cortes de Baixo.

About the Tour
The proposed tour has a low medium physical difficulty. It runs along dirt roads. It does not present major technical difficulties so it can be performed by anyone used to riding a bicycle.
You should bring comfortable clothes for cycling, water and snacks.
Minimum height for renting a electric bicycle is 1,50 meters.
